vanilla bean strawberry donuts w/lemon honey glaze
Yield 1 dozen
GLUTEN FREE | DAIRY FREE | PROTEIN PACKED
- 1 cup almond meal
- 1/2 cup oat flour
- 1/2 cup ALOHA vanilla protein powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
- 1/2 cup soy milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla paste
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 cup sliced strawberries sliced strawberries to garnish
Glaze ingredients:
- 4 tablespoons spun honey
- 2 teaspoons vanilla paste
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add wet ingredients, then hand mix. Add vanilla paste and strawberries.
Spray donut pan with cooking spray and fill 3/4 full with batter. Bake at 325 degrees F for 12 minutes.
Prepare glaze ingredients by mixing in a small bowl. Drizzle over each donut and garnish with sliced strawberries. Makes a dozen.
